Axa announces preferential share class deals

Axa has announced details of its preferential share class agreements with fund managers.

Discounts have been agreed on clean funds from five external fund groups – Blackrock, Investec, Old Mutual Global Investors, Schroders and Threadneedle.

The largest discounts of 0.1 per cent are available on some Schroders and Investec funds. Axa Investment Managers and Architas funds are also discounted.

Axa adds it is negotiating with other fund houses and expects to announce further discount deals shortly.

The discounted share classes will be made available on Elevate, Axa’s Retirement Wealth Account and Family Suntrust Sipp.

Axa Wealth chief executive Mike Kellard says: ““We are always working to provide the best deal to investors, recognising the importance of the total cost of ownership for advisers and their clients; as part of this, we are committed to securing the best available preferential terms for our customers.

“We are now able to make these discounted terms available to investors and help reduce the total cost of their holdings.”
