Aviva UK group executive director Patrick Snowball will leave the group at the end of June to take up the role of deputy chairman at Towergate Partnership which has led to a shake-up of the executive team.
As previously announced, current group finance director Andrew Moss has been appointed group chief executive with effect from July 12.
Executive director Philip Scott will become group finance director and wil retain his responsibility for asset management.
Chief executive of Aviva Europe Tidjane Thiam and Norwich Union Life chief executive Mark Hodges will continue in their current roles.
Aviva USA chief executive Tom Godlasky will become chief executive, North America and will lead Aviva’s operations in the USA and Canada.
Norwich Union General Insurance chief executive Simon Machell will become chief executive, Asia Pacific and will lead Aviva’s Asian and Australian businesses.
Aviva Canada chief executive Igal Mayer will become Norwich Union General Insurance chief executive.
All the executive above will report to Andrew Moss and will be members of the group executive committee which is chaired by the group chief executive.
All appointments are effective from July 12.
