Aviva prepares to launch auto enrolment offering

Aviva has today outlined details of its new workplace savings proposition ahead of automatic enrolment.

Aviva’s new workplace savings proposition, called WorkLife, allows employers to place all of their workplace benefits onto a single online hub.

The provider has also launched a separate online compliance tool, called auto enrolment manager for employers, designed to help employers comply with their auto enrolment obligations.

Aviva says the new offering will be able to support employers who want to offer multiple pension scheme arrangements to their employees, including Nest.

Aviva head of workplace savings development Iain Oliver says: “We’ve worked hard to understand the needs of employers as they plan towards their critical staging dates.

“We already support thousands of employers in the UK with their company pensions and we’ll continue to work with them as they look to find the best solutions to meet their automatic enrolment needs – whether it’s extending their existing pension scheme or implementing a new scheme.

“Meeting the day-to-day automatic enrolment obligations will be demanding for employers. This is why we’ve developed our AME compliance monitoring tool. It has the advantage of supporting employers across multiple pension schemes.”

  1. Is this going to be available via IFA’s or is it another example of a life company going D2C & cutting out the very people who helped to build them??

    Yes, of course it will all be available to IFAs.

    We see big advisory opportunities as employers restructure their pension and benefit schemes to accommodate auto-enrolment, and improve their employee proposition.We aim to help support you through this process with these new tools and services.
