Avalon Investment Services/Minerva Fund Managers – Socially Responsible Portfolios

Type: Discretionary portfolio management service available through an Avalon portfolio, Isa or self-invested personal pension product wrapper

Aim: Growth or income by investing in one of five risk-graded portfolios comprising a blend of socially responsible/ethical funds including exchange traded funds

Minimum investment: Lump sum £5,000 through Freedom Isa and Freedom portfolio wrappers, negotiable through Freedom Sipp, monthly £80 for adventurous saver and balanced growth portfolios

Investment choice: Adventurous, adventurous saver, balanced growth, balanced income and conservative portfolios

Options:  Freedom Isa, Freedom Sipp, Freedom portfolio, automatic transfer facility to Isa from portfolio

Charges: Annual 0.25%, portfolio and Isa wrapper charges initial up to 0.5%, annual 0.5%, Sipp charging structure 1 initial 1% up to £500, annual 1%,charging structure 2 establishment charge £450, annual £500, additional charges for transfers, transactions and other services

Commission: Subject to negotiation, with option to donate 10% to Water Aid
