Autif issues tax guide for unit trust investors


Autif has issued its 1999 tax factsheet to help unit trust investors complete this year&#39s tax returns.



The updated guide, Unit Trusts and Tax – Completing your tax return,


provides information on three types of income from UK authorised unit


trusts and Peps. These are the interest, dividend and foreign income


distributions.



Autif public relations manager Clare Arber says: &#34This is popular every


year, because it makes life easier for people. We also run a unit


trust info helpline, which receives around 30,000 calls every year. Now is


our busiest time, and more so this year with PEPs changing to Isas.&#34
