Autif issues tax guide for unit trust investors

Autif has issued its 1999 tax factsheet to help unit trust investors complete this year&#39s tax returns.

The updated guide, Unit Trusts and Tax – Completing your tax return,

provides information on three types of income from UK authorised unit

trusts and Peps. These are the interest, dividend and foreign income

distributions.

Autif public relations manager Clare Arber says: &#34This is popular every

year, because it makes life easier for people. We also run a unit

trust info helpline, which receives around 30,000 calls every year. Now is

our busiest time, and more so this year with PEPs changing to Isas.&#34

The factsheet can be obtained from AUTIF on 0171 831 0898.
