Attivo recruits John Hayden as distribution director

Attivo Group has hired John Hayden to fill the newly created role of distribution director.

Prior to joining Attivo, Hayden was managing director at Encompass PCA Management for seven months.

From 2012 to 2013 Hayden was operations director at Sandringham Financial Planners and before that he was chief executive of the Berkeley Independent Adviser Network.

Hayden spent almost seven years as Intrinsic’s proposition director between 2005 and 2012 and, from 2002 to 2004, he was business development director at Burns Anderson.

Attivo Group chief executive Stephen Harper says: “In an increasingly competitive marketplace having John’s extensive industry knowledge and contacts is a tremendous advantage.

“His vast experience of the adviser sector will be invaluable in helping us identify the type of firms and partners that we need to work with to build value for the future.”

In January this year, Attivo announced plans to double current funds under management to £1bn by 2017. The company says it has at least six adviser acquisitions in the pipeline for the next 12 months.

In the past year Attivo has acquired Middlesex-based Anthony Etkind and Amersham-based Alistair Clift, adding a further £60m funds under management.
