Ashcourt Rowan hires ex-SLI head of funds research

Ashcourt Rowan has appointed Alan Scrimger as head of funds research.

Scrimger will report to chief investment officer Toni Meadows and will join the eight-strong research team. He will have responsibility for enhancing the group’s fund research capabilities.

Prior to joining Ashcourt Rowan, Scrimger worked at Standard Life as head of funds research. He was responsible for the creation and evolution of its multi-manager product range Myfolio.

Prior to joining SLI, Scrimger was head of portfolio construction at Ermitage, developing fund research and a fund of fund investment process with an emphasis on absolute returns.
