Ashcourt Rowan has boosted its asset management offering with the appointment of Brewin Dolphin’s Harry Burnham.
Burnham, who has been at Brewin Dolphin since 2000, will join the board of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management.
In his current role Burnham is responsible for a range of individual, trust and charitable portfolios as well as managing the Brewin Dolphin pension fund. Prior to Brewin, he had spent five years at William de Broe.
Burnham is the latest in a series of appointments at Ashcourt Rowan. Last month, the group appointed Gaius Jones as chief executive of Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning, while David Palmer joined Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management as business director in January 2013.
Ashcourt Rowan chief executive Jonathan Polin says: “Being able to attract someone of Harry’s calibre is a testament to the work we have put into developing our team and investment process and is indicative of our determination to lead in this sector. Harry is extremely well-known and respected across the industry. He has a wealth of experience both in client management and in helping to develop modern wealth management businesses.
“We are delighted that he will be joining our team where his experience, expertise and energy will help drive Ashcourt Rowan to meet the exciting growth targets we have set ourselves. We look forward to working with him closely when he joins.”
