Ascentric launches low cost pension account

Ascentric has launched its low cost pension account for advisers.

The Ascentric Pension Account is a low cost Sipp that provides IFA clients with the opportunity to consolidate their holdings into a single product, without requiring the complexity or expense of a full Sipp.

Its launch is a result of IFA requests, and it will now sit alongside Ascentric’s the 20 Sipps already available the platform.

Clients can transfer existing plans to the APA from any UK registered pension scheme, including protected rights and or contracted out benefits.

Ascentric managing director Hugo Thorman says: “We continually listen to IFA users of our platform to determine how Ascentric can best meet their needs through the products and services we offer.
“The APA offers the best of both worlds – a market-leading wrap platform with a simple, low cost Sipp.”
