Ascentric appoints Axa Wealth’s Sarah Lyons as head of marketing

Wrap platform Ascentric has hired Sarah Lyons as head of marketing.

Lyons joins from Axa Wealth, where she was senior marketing manager for the Elevate platform.

Ascentric sales and marketing director Mike Morrow says Lyons’ understanding of communications and promotion will be “critical” as the firm prepares to overhaul its back-office systems next year.

Lyons says: “I’ve always admired the independence and adviser focus of the Ascentric business and the opportunity to contribute further to its success at this exciting time for the platform market is very appealing.”

Lyons joined Axa Wealth in 2002.

  1. With the FCA promising a focus coming on platform due diligence in the new year, I’m sure platforms will need to step up their communications to advisers to help them take shade under the spotlight.
