Former ISIS strategic bond and extra income bond fund manager James Foster will be joining Artemis towards the end of Q1 in 2005.
Foster will be responsible for the development and management of a retail bond fund to be distributed through independent financial advisers.
Foster left ISIS after a lengthy sabbatical this year. Foster was replaced by Fatima Luis and Alexandra Ralph, who took over the running of the funds in July this year.
Chelsea Financial Services managing director Darius McDermott says: “James Foster is an excellent acquisition for Artemis and the new fund is likely to be popular with IFAs simply because of his past track record and expertise.”
“James will be adding to an already impressive investment management team that include the likes of John Dodd, Philip Wolstencroft and Derek Stuart, to name a few. It will be great to see James back in the fund management arena and I’m certain that we will be meeting him in the new year to discuss the new fund.”
