Artemis covers the bases with guide to investment

Artemis Fund Management has produced a new guide to stockmarket

investment and risk management.

The group decided to publish the guide as investors wanted basic

information to help them understand their own investments.

It is being used as part of Artemis&#39 advertising campaign in the

run-up to the end of the tax year. It is aimed directly at invest-ors

but will be distributed mainly through IFAs.

The guide explores risk and potential returns and looks at the way

that economic cycles affect investment. It also explains the range of

funds available from Artemis. The income funds, the growth which

include capital and UK growth funds and the specialist & overseas

which include new enterprises and global growth funds.

Products and communications director Nick Wells says: “We thought

about it long and hard to help investors to understand the basics of

investing and have gone for something that was not too challenging.

With stockmarket turmoil, some investors may be reluctant to commit

money to equity-linked investments. This guide will help them to

choose investments which best suit their needs.”
