Armed Forces opts for Scot Wids stakeholder

Scottish Widows has been appointed as provider of stakeholder pensions for the Armed Services.

Scottish Widows&#39 Stakeholder Pension Plan will be made available to over 200,000 regular personnel and 50,000 reservists within the Armed Services, who will also be offered an AVC scheme.

Armed Forces minister Adam Ingram says: “This important initiative will allow all members of the armed forces earning under £30,000, including the reserves, to bolster their pensions.”
