Arch website to offer more information on funds

Arch Financial Products has launched a new public website in a bid to improve transparency about its funds.

The website which goes live today will focus on the incorporated cell companies of the ARCH Guernsey ICC.

It will allow anyone to view information about the performance, strategy, geographic allocations and significant holdings within the Guernsey cells.

Previously, only FSA-registered users of Arch’s website were able to access this information.

As well as information about the funds, the website will regularly feature periodic reports, fund analysis and market commentary from Arch’s senior investment team.

Accounts and historical performance reports including monthly, half-yearly and annual reports – will also be available.

Arch managing partner Robin Farrell says: “Arch has made a great effort to improve the information flow to investors, notwithstanding the private nature of the assets and strategies. Now, during the suspension of the funds, it is even more important to keep investors informed about the funds.”

Boulger tends towards trackers

Advisers should be recommending more trackers as fixed rates become too expensive, says John Charcol senior technical manager Ray Boulger.

Negative reaction to a positive move
