Aon Consulting launches occupational health support service

Pensions and human resources consultancy firm Aon Consulting has launched a healthcare management service for employers. The service offers independent advice on effective provision of internal and external occupational health services.

Aon says the launch of the occupational health consulting service is in response to an increased burden on employers to integrate areas such as absence management, long-term disability and medical insurance.

The service will measure the business impact of occupational health services, examine the benefits of different delivery methods and identify improved employee wellness products to improve productivity, employee satisfaction and enhance positive healthcare trends.

Aon has appointed Charlotte Bray, a consultant in occupational health and qualified nurse with over thirteen years experience, to implement the service.

Aon Consulting head of healthcare Alex Bennett says: “This is an exciting development for Aon and an extremely valuable service for our clients. Our approach provides unique value to the market in that we can truly offer an integrated approach to healthcare management. It is a powerful extension to our Healthcare team and we have already delivered significant improvements to our clients’ sickness absence interventions and the costs of insured products.”

“To ensure the success of this new service, it is essential we have on board the right expertise and I am pleased that Charlotte was keen to join our team and take up the challenge of helping us shape this exciting new offering”
