Aon Consulting appoints pensions expert

Aon Consulting has appointed Ian Bell as head of third party pensions administration at its Birmingham office.

Bell comes from Thomson&#39s Group where he was responsible for improvements in group pensions, SSAS and SIPP clients. Prior to that he was head of pensions at Scottish Provident and defined benefit operations manager at the Prudential.

At Aon, Bell will work on enhancing the services provided to its third-party administration appointments.

Aon administers over 600 pension schemes for UK blue chip organisations. It has capitalised on the trend of large companies to outsource their pension schemes and Bell&#39s appointment is expected to improve the level of service Aon offers.
