Ansell takes on industry liaison role for Misys IFA Services

Misys IFA Services has made a series of high-profile appointments.

Nick Ansell becomes director responsible for external industry affairs. His role will be to support the Misys networks by working with industry trade bodies, associations and leaders in the financial services industry.

Ansell was previously managing director of IFA Network, a subsidiary company which Misys bought earlier this year.

He will report to Patrick Gale, chief executive officer of Misys IFA Services.

Misys IFA Services sales and marketing director Max Wright will take a joint role as managing director of IFA Network.

Nick Kelly is to continue as sales and marketing director for IFA Network and will report to Wright.

IFA Network&#39s Simon Kay will retain responsibility for commission processing while assuming additional responsibilities for a major commissions project across the Misys group of networks.

Kay will hand his current finance responsibilities to Kevin Budge, Misys IFA Network&#39s finance director.

Misys IFA Services chief executive Patrick Gale says: “Nick Ansell is very respected in the financial services industry and his experience and knowledge will be valuable for the group.”
