Cofunds head of fund group relations Michelle Woodburn has left the platform.
Woodburn joined Cofunds in 2006 and her role involved overseeing the platform’s relationships with all asset management firms.
Cofunds is in the process of telling fund managers about her departure.
It is understood Woodburn has not been in the office for several weeks and has since opted to leave the firm. Her role has been looked after by the rest of the team in her absence.
The move follows a number of high-profile departures from Cofunds after Legal & General acquired the platform. Chairman Charlie Eppinger, chief executive Martin Davis, director of marketing Verona Smith and managing director of operational services Stephen Mohan have all left this year.
M Thurlow & Co partner Blair Cann says: “When a firm is acquired, there is often movement in the management structure and people within the firm decide that it is the right time for them to leave, which appears to be the case here.”
