Annuity Bureau in joint deal to aid doctors and dentists

The Annuity Bureau has entered into a strategic partnership with specialist financial services provider Medical Sickness to give doctors and dentists better annuities.

Medical Sickness, which provides specialist services to medical and dental professionals, will be working with the specialist annuity IFA to provide an at-retirement service to doctors and dentists with the aim of maximising their incomes at retirement.

The partnership is aiming to give medical professionals access to a product tailored to their needs.

Statistics show many medical professionals will live on average for around 25 years after retirement and will need the most competitive annuity.

Bureau director Ronnie Lymburn says: “Buying an annuity is a once in a lifetime decision and it is important that retirees ensure they make the right choice and purchase the best annuity to suit their particular needs.”

Medical Sickness sales director Richard Green says: “The wide variety of annuities now available has made the task of choosing the right one extremely difficult.

“We all want doctors and dentists to be able to take full advantage of the evolving and dynamic annuity mar-ket. The new partnership will help them make the best decision.”
