Annuity Bureau aims for fast response

The Annuity Bureau has improved its website to include a customer response service that will ensure email queries are dealt with quickly.

The service means customers sending queries to the specialist annuity adviser will receive a reply within two hours on any working day.

The system works using technology which sends the email straight to a consultant specialising in either annuities or income drawdown, depending on the nature of the enquiry.

The website also features a search engine allowing users to hunt for a particular word or phrase.

The Annuity Bureau says its website is up-dated constantly to meet the needs of its users.

Managing director Peter Quinton says: “With the current speed of internet delivery, people are used to receiving fast responses. Our new system will keep pace with their expectations.

“We receive a growing number of email requests a day, several about complex issues. This indicates more people approaching retirement favour this method of communication.”


Lambeth increases commission
