AMP appoints UK communications chief

Australian insurer AMP has appointed Tony McGarahan as director of its UK communications and corporate PR.


McGarahan will be responsible for the groups media relations, corporate and internal communications, investor relations, government affairs and community investment.


He will also cordinate AMP&#39s UK corporate strategy for all its operating businesses including Pearl, Henderson Investors, London Life, a 50 per cent stake in Virgin Direct and NPI from January.
