The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries has announced six newly elected members to its board.
Members voted in include Conti Financial Services partner Simon Conn, Cambria Mortgage Services principal Paul Fielding, Mortgageforce managing director Robert Clifford and Complete Mortgage and Loan Service compliance director Bill Warren.
Charcol senior technical manager Ray Boulger and Freedom Finance group compliance director Stephen Atkins have both been re-elected.
As expected, Charles Gooding stood down as chairman and deputy chairman Mark Mountney was not re-elected.
The board members choose six additional co-opted places from amongst network and adviser AMI members for a one-year term on July 15. A new chairman and deputy chairman will also be chosen at that time.
Boulger says in the last year the AMI has been concentrating on regulatory issues, consulting with the FSA and advising members on regulatory queries that came up as the regulatory process progressed.
AMI director Chris Cummings says: “I think the elections have delivered a good mix of fresh and familiar faces. We have seen some turnover and it's always sad to say goodbye to people who have helped get a trade body off the ground.”
