Amber Homeloans urges intermediaries to use its KFIs for guaranteed accuracy

Amber Homeloans is encouraging intermediaries to obtain KFIs direct from its website because of problems with sourcing systems.

Amber says KFIs issued directly from its website have guaranteed accuracy. Amber recognises that many intermediaries may be having problems obtaining KFIs from sourcing systems for menu-driven products.

These include the Bespoke and Parachute ranges from Amber. These rely on caculations of interest rates and loading. With up to 200 combinations, sourcing systems are not able to cope with the complexity of these products and offer substantially less combinations.

As a result, the lender suggests intermediaries access KFIs directly from its website or be redirected to it from the sourcers’ sites.

Amber associate director of sales and marketing Mike Perry says: “Sourcing systems frequently cannot cope with the complexity of menu-driven products, so we would strongly recommend that intermediaries take advantage of Amber’s own KFI facility. If the sourcing system would like to have access to the Amber KFI to help the intermediaries source all of our products, then Amber are more than happy to provide this access free of charge.”
