Alternative asset providers stage mock court trial

Alternative asset providers are staging a mock court trial to make the case for absolute return funds, structured investments, exchange traded funds, commodity funds and thematic funds.

BlackRock UK absolute alpha fund manager Mark Lyttleton, Blue Sky Asset Management chief executive Chris Taylor, Stacey Ash of Marlborough Fund Managers and Henry Boucher of Sarasin & Partners will stand trial at Nottingham’s Galleries of Justice on 21 October.

Cross examination of each ‘witness’ will be led by investment journalist David Stevenson and investment advisers attending in the galleries will also have the opportunity to put questions to the witnesses whilst they are in the dock.

Event organiser Morland Brook Investment Promotions says: This is an unique opportunity for financial advisers to hear four highly respected fund managers make their case for the use of alternative asset based products.”
