Their appointment follows the resignation of Simon Hull who leaves the role in September to join another Isle of man licensed bank.
Nuttall joined the Company in 1999 and later became a director in 2002. He specialises in banking regulation and compliance and will continue to focus on these areas in addition to controlling the finance and IT aspects of the business.
Ripton joined the A&L Group eight years ago and moved to the Isle of Man in December 2006 to become sales & marketing manager. He will continue to oversee the marketing function as well as taking on responsibility for customer services.
Nuttall says: “Whilst this is a challenging time for banks everywhere due to the credit crisis, ALIL is a very strong and competitive business which has been consistently successful within its chosen offshore market sector.”
Ripton adds: “ALIL has a reputation for offering customers great savings rates and innovative savings products. Our objective remains to continue to build on the recent success of our online, offshore savings products.”
