Forty Two Wealth Management partner Alan Dick has been voted in as vice president of the Institute of Financial Planning.
Dick will take over from Dunham Financial Services managing director Rebecca Taylor in October when she replaces Guardian Wealth Management managing director Marlene Shalton as president.
Taylor was appointed vice president in May.
Dick (pictured) says: “I am delighted with my election and I am looking forward to doing anything and everything to promote the IFP. It is a very exciting time for financial planners at the moment and I will enjoy my two-year tenure.”
As vice president, Dick is in line to take over as president of the IFP from Taylor in October 2014.
IFP chief executive Nick Cann says: “Alan has made an outstanding contribution to the board so far and I am delighted he will be president in two years time.”
