AITC committee members elected

Lough Callahan and Rod Birkett have been elected to the Association of Investment Trust Companies executive committee, replacing Andrew Baker and Richard Barfield.

Callahan is chairman of the European Technology and Income Company, a director of Tribune Trust and an investment fund consultant with Ernst & Young.

Birkett is managing director of Chase Fleming Asset Management and was formerly with Citicorp Scrimgeour Vickers and SG Warburg.

AITC chairman Christopher Duffett says: “Both are formidable players in the investment world and I look forward to working with them.”
