AIFA welcomes Lipsey appointment

The Association of Independent Financial Advisers has welcomed the appointment of Lord Lipsey as the chairman of the Financial Services Consumer Panel.

Director general Chris Cummings says: “We are very pleased that Lord Lipsey has been appointed as the new chair to the Financial Services Consumer Panel. He brings with him a wealth of experience in financial services and the regulatory world. AIFA has always made it a priority to work closely with the FSCP and support the panel’s role as a consumer ambassador.

“AIFA would also like to take this opportunity to thank John Howard for his conscientious and effective chairmanship over the past two and a half years.”
