Aifa looks at customer care staff for networks

Aifa is experimenting with the idea of providing customer care managers for the major networks and support services grounds as a way of promoting Aifa and allowing a better flow of information to members.

David Severn responded to a query from a network member at the roadshow by saying that Aifa was piloting a customer care scheme with SimplyBiz. Aifa has also dev- eloped a micro-site on the SimplyBiz website.

Aifa director of policy Faye Goddard says if the pilot is successful, it will be rolled out to other networks.She said having dedicated care staff to deal with individual networks will develop a better relationship with members.

Goddard said there has been difficulty keeping up to date with members leaving and joining networks but this initiative should solve the problem.
