Ageas Protect appoints Nick Erskine as national sales and strategy manager

New Hire: Nick Erskine

Ageas Protect has appointed Nick Erskine as its national sales and strategy manager.

Erskine, who will take up his new role in August, joins from PruProtect, where he was head of national accounts and progress.

Prior to his time at PruProtect, Erskine spent six years as a strategic account manager for Royal Liver Assurance and, before that, was an account manager at Accord Mortgages.

PruProtect says it has no immediate plans to replace Erskine.

In his new role he will be responsible for developing Ageas’ sales strategy and looking after its national accounts. He will replace Lee Gill, who is leaving the insurer.

Ageas Protect managing director Darren Spriggs says: “Nick has a wealth of experience that we are delighted to add to our first rate management team. His understanding of the intermediary market will be a real asset and complements our growth plans.

Nick’s appointment further demonstrates our commitment too, not only providing the intermediary market with the innovative products and services their customers demand, but also to building an exceptional team that continues to generate progressive solutions for those customers.”
