AFB appoints Sinclair as associate director

Robert Sinclair has been appointed associate director of the newly formed Association of Finance Brokers.
The role will involve representing the industry to Government, politicians, civil servants, regulators and policy-making groups.
Sinclair was formerly head of advice development and quality, retail banking at Abbey National and previously worked for Inscape Investments and HSBC.
AFB director general Chris Cummings says: “Sinclair has extensive first hand knowledge of the financial services sector and I am pleased to be able to bring someone of his calibre and experience on board.
The industry is going through a period of unprecedented change. With new pressures emanating from UK regulators and the EC, the secured loan community needs a person like Robert to be their ambassador. I look forward to working with him.”
