Aegon, Standard & Clerical receive Unipass Easy Access Award

Three new providers have passed internal audits to gain the Unipass Easy Access Award.

Aegon Scottish Equitable, Clerical Medical and Standard Life have passed rigorous checks across 10 areas to win the award, joining Prudential, Zurich and Sterling in offering advisers quick and easy extranet registration using Unipass.

Origo launched its Easy Access Award programme in February, following adviser feedback that they had suffered difficulties being experienced when signing up to provider websites.

Aegon Scottish Equitable e-business manager Charlie Marshall says: “Aegon is committed to helping advisers get the most from our eServices and making life easier at the registration stage plays an important part in being able to do this. This is a great industry initiative and we are delighted to be awarded the Unipass Easy Access Award in recognition of our efforts to put the adviser at the heart of what we do.”

Origo managing director Paul Pettitt says: “Origo is working with a number of other product providers who are currently going through the audit process and planning changes to increase the usability and responsiveness of their extranet service. I urge more product providers to sign up to the programme and show their commitment to helping advisers save time and money.”
