Aegon CFO Bousfield departs

Aegon UK’s chief financial officer Clare Bousfield is to leave the provider next month.

Finance director Stephen McGee will take over the role on an interim basis from 1st August.

The firm would not give a reason for Bousfield’s sudden departure.

Chief executive Adrian Grace thanked Bousfield for her “broad contribution” over the last six years.

She joined Aegon in 2010 and previously held senior roles at Swiss Re’s UK life and health business.
