Aegon Asset Management appoints head of performance

Aegon Asset Management has appointed Anne Harrison as the firm’s new head of performance.

Harrison’s arrival is the latest attempt for the group to build on its service and propositions offerings and follows on from the appointment of three other business heads with Nigel Loweth on institutional business, Scott Jamieson on structured products and Innes McKeand for equities.

Harrison will lead the performance analysis team in keeping the firms performance data is both up-to-date and accurate. She joins the firm from Fidelity Investments where she associate director, head of performance and investment statistics. Prior to her time at Fidelity, Harrison worked for The WM Company where she was service delivery executive.

Aegon Asset Management’s director of securities management Christophe Ferrand says: “This is a key appointment for the business, and one to which Anne brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. Performance analysis is becoming increasingly complex, and her experience will greatly enhance our capabilities in this area.

“As such Anne’s appointment is yet another step in our ongoing aim of seeking talented individuals who can significantly enhance our propositions.”
