Aegon UK has promoted sales director Duncan Jarrett as retail managing director and senior consultant Angela Seymour Jackson as workplace managing director.
Aegon says Jarrett’s role will be to support advisers through business model changes. He has been with Aegon in various roles for 26 years.
Seymour Jackson, who joined Aegon in May, will focus on strategic corporate accounts.
Aegon chief executive Adrian Grace says: “I am confident that we now have the best structure, with the very best talent leading the organisation, to ensure Aegon UK becomes a true market leader in our chosen markets of at-retirement and workplace savings.”
PMI Independent Financial Advisers director John Stewart says: “Aegon is obviously pushing its workplace offering and that is why it has made sure there is someone in charge of attracting business into that part of the company. There is certainly a large market on the corporate pensions side of things going forward and Aegon is looking to take advantage of that.”
