Aegon UK has added to its executive team.
Group IT director David Bradley, who is responsible for co-ordinating
technology development throughout the group, is appointed to the Aegon UK
executive for the first time.
Former Scottish Amicable marketing director Gavin Stewart, who arrived at
Aegon in February, joins the board as group development director with
responsibility for evaluating and implementing new business opportunities.
Stewart and Bradley join group finance director Otto Thoresen, Scottish
Equitable managing director Graham Dumble, Aegon Asset Management managing
director Russell Hogan, director of group businesses Peter Dornan, group
actuary Bill Robertson and group secretary Roy Patrick on the board,
reporting to group chief executive David Henderson.
Henderson says: “The importance of technology to our continued success
cannot be understated. David Bradley has made significant progress in
developing our IT strategy and his appointment reinforces my determination
to ensure our IT continues to meet our business needs.
“Developing new business opportunities for the group is a major focus for
us. Gavin Stewart has made a significant contribution to our development
since February. I have asked him to focus on delivering measurable progress
in broadening our market position.”
