It says the service should allow providers to process requests quicker and provide for faster decision-making.
Adviserwise’s agency registration service launched earlier this year in partnership with 12 providers and four service Providers.
It is designed to help adviser firms to set up trading relationships with multiple product providers using a single electronic application.
Origo says, after completing agency registration, advisers will then be able to capture, validate and submit agency administration requests. It says this should work for new agency codes, leaver notification, change of address and bank details.
The e-standards body says the administration service should provide a more secure authentication solution than existing paper, fax or email processes.
Origo managing director Paul Pettitt says: “The agency administration service builds upon the success of agency registration, providing advisers with a one-stop shop web service and helping the industry as a whole progress to straight through processing.
“Developments in agency administration are a major focus for Origo this year and the participating product providers are keen to progress with this project to prevent losing the momentum already established with agency registration.”
