Adviserwise adds five more members

Five more members have joined Adviserwise, the support and training website set up by e-standards body Origo.

Durell, Selestia Investment Solutions, Royal Liver, LV= and The Hartford join the existing 26 providers supporting the initiative.

Adviserwise was set up a year ago to help encourage the uptake of e-services among advisers. The service offers advisers dealing with life, pensions and collective investment products free online product and e-services information.

Each of the members publish their online capabilities on Adviserwise’s Matrix tool, which provides advisers with a list of specific products and their e-services.

Royal Liver IFA e-commerce manager Richard Leadbeater says: “The range of back office systems and portals in the market, each with different combinations of functionality and links to product providers, make for a tangled web for IFAs to unravel if they want to determine the best fit for the needs of their practice. Initiatives like, which support Advisers in this selection as well as encouraging the use of the wide range of eServices that are now available, can only be seen as a good thing.”

Origo managing director Paul Pettitt: “We’re delighted to welcome these five new joiners to – a further demonstration of the value that the initiative is delivering to the industry and Advisers in particular. Origo is dedicated to driving uptake and usage of eServices by Advisers, so the addition of these new joiners to and its Matrix tool helps towards addressing awareness and understanding of the efficiencies that can be gained.”
