adnitor to host first platform awards

adnitor is to host the first UK platform awards to recognise the achievements of platforms, advisers, asset managers and technology providers in the growth of the sector.
The dinner and awards ceremony, held in association with Money Marketing and CWC Research, takes place at the Café Royal in London on 28 February with over 300 people expected to attend.
adnitor says the event will bring together leading figures in the industry to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of their peers.
Awards include best adviser platform service, achievement for an adviser firm, innovation by an asset manager, best administration technology, leading independent platform, platform personality of the year and best overall platform.
adnitor chief executive Karen Forrest says: “We believe that the market has now reached a tipping point and evolved sufficiently to warrant recognition of those who have contributed to its advancement to date and also those who are committed to make changes to correct aspects of the financial services model which are broken.
Platforms in the UK are not simply about Wrap but about a series of changes to deliver better quality and services within the Financial Services market, for which Platforms are the enabler. The Awards will also be recognising the contributions in the market of the Asset management, technology companies and other supporting functions.”
