Adnitor sets out short list for its worksite platform awards

Adnitor has unveiled the nominations for industry achievement for its defined-contri-bution and worksite platform of the year award.

The companies in the running are Fidelity, Friends Provident, Hargreaves Lansdown, Prudential, Scottish Equitable, Scottish Widows, Standard Life and Winterthur Life.

Adnitor says there is much more emphasis on the worksite, which is being recognised as crucial for product distribution as well as education, information and engagement of the individual.

The company says plat-forms must ensure flexibility, transparency of product and excellence and innovation in communication.

The shortlisted companies have been looking at product analysis and the development of post A-Day contract sites, specifically covering group personal pensions, stakeholder and group Sipps.

The award will look at service analysis, with a particular focus on ease of joining a scheme, the level of education and guidance materials provided to clients, ongoing support, innovation and the broadness of their proposition.

The platform awards and dinner will take place on February 28 at the Cafe Royal in London.

Adnitor chief executive Karen Forrest says: “Adnitor believes this award recognises the change in the pension landscape and the importance this challenge will have in the future market. The merits of each of the nominations in this category and their commitment to this market have been a factor in their selection.”
