Absurdity of setting deadline without an exam

It beggars belief that neither the FSA, the Financial Services Skills Council, nor the various examination providers have any definitive idea of what exam content is actually necessary to qualify for QCA level 4 standard.

Notwithstanding that fact, they nevertheless seem quite capable of stating a deadline by which time you have to gain the as yet unquantified qualification.

No doubt, highly qualified and trained people have decided that putting the cart before the horse is the sensible and logical way forward under the RDR proposals, which gives added weight to the already dubious benefits of the other RDR proposals.

Obviously, such circumstances and the absurdity of them were not on the curriculum of the exams they did take but it is a matter of some regret that these self same people have the power to impose their foolishness on others less fortunate.
