ABI deputy chair appointed to FSCS board

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has announced it is appointed two new non-executive directors to its board.

Bernard Day and Tim Vogel join the compensation scheme for terms ranging between two and four years.

Day counts amongst his several non-executive positions deputy chairman of the ABI, chairman of the General Insurance Council and director of the Three Choirs Festival.

Vogel is a forensic accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has worked for Lovell Blake, KPMG, Howard Clark Whitehill, Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young.
