Abbey to allow intermediaries to submit documents online

Abbey for Intermediaries is to allow intermediaries to upload and submit mortgage cases online via its mortgage application tracking system.

From June 28, intermediaries will be able to submit supporting case documents as well as advise AFI on changes to applications.

The uploaded documents will link to the case on AFI’s processing system before it is processed.

Broker administrators will also be able to submit documents. The system will also show a case submission history so intermediaries can see documents have been received.

Managing director Miguel Sard says: “We want to make it as easy as possible for intermediaries to do business with us and we have launched this new functionality in direct response to feedback from the market.

“Being able to upload and submit case information to us will make life much easier for intermediaries, and provide them with the peace of mind that their client’s information has been sent securely and received.”
