Abbey National to launch stakeholder friendly scheme

Abbey National is planning to launch a stakeholder friendly pension this week according to a report in the Financial Times today.


The FT says the plan will have a 1 per cent annual management charge, which is in line with Government recommendations. But its likely to have an initial charge of between 2 and 5 per cent.


The stakeholder friendly scheme will allow the bank&#39s customers to stop and start premiums at anytime.
