Abbey appoints new director of mortgage marketing

Abbey National has appointed Debra Fraser, 37, as director of mortgage marketing with a brief to focus on building lifetime relationships with customers.

Fraser takes over from George Haslem who has been appointed as director, insurance marketing and she will report to director of retail marketing, Janet Connor.

She joined Abbey in 1992 and her most recent role was head of pricing strategy where she was responsible for the introduction of a new pricing model for mortgages.
