A J Bell appoints new client services director

A J Bell has announced the appointment of Eddie McGuire as client services director.

McGuire has over 23 years financial services experience. His previous roles include being the head of financial institutions at Jardine Lloyd Thomson and head of Hazell Carr Scotland where he was responsible for forming and developing the firm’s Sipp and Ssas business.

McGuire says, “I am delighted to be joining the team at A J Bell. The business has a track record of innovation, quality service and an approach that makes it different to other financial services organisations. I look forward to contributing towards A J Bell’s continued development, growth and success.”



FSA fines broker £70,000

The FSA has banned London mortgage broker Grace Nmadibechi Ada Ukala and fined her £70,000 for knowingly submitting false and misleading mortgage applications.
