51 % PI hike for DBS members

DBS has today secured professional indemnity insurance cover for its members, that will see members paying a 52 per cent higher premium than last year.

The network says the increase in premiums should be seen in the context of increases in PI cover premiums across the industry.

DBS public relations and communications manager Sue Lewis says: “This is a major achievement for the benefit of our members. The integration with Misys IFA Services has enabled us to employ one broker and achieve greater economies of scale.”
