Nucleus Financial Group has signed up another seven IFA firms to its adviser-owned wrap platform, bringing the number of firms with stakes in the business to 20.
Since launching in December 2006 with seven founding firms, Nucleus has recently signed up the following seven companies – Trinity Financial Planning, Marshall Wooldridge, FA Watts Investment Managers, Planned Futures, Arch Financial Planning, Bradbury Hamilton and Beardmore & Co.
Around 150 total advisers now use the platform, with the total assets controlled by the 20 firms at around £7bn.
Nucleus Financial Group chief executive David Ferguson says: “To have 20 IFA firms of such quality invested in and using Nucleus so soon after going live is a significant achievement and something we are extremely proud of.
“The level of interest we have had from high-end IFA firms has been overwhelming and clearly demonstrates a desire from that part of the market for a truly independent proposition that puts IFAs absolutely in control.”
