1st – The Exchange announces integration between Adviser Office and FundsLibrary

1st – The Exchange has announced the integration of its Adviser Office and online fund data platform FundsLibrary.

Those who use the latest AO 6.7 release will have direct access to fund data products and services for 3,000 funds provided by FundsLibrary, a subsidiary of Hargreaves Lansdown, for free through Adviser Office.

FundsLibrary managing director Stuart Louden says: “FundsLibrary is delighted to be able to offer its extensive range of fund information tools directly to Adviser Office users. FundsLibrary was built specifically to service the fund information needs of professional advisers. As such we are happy to provide our services directly via the software chosen by over half of the UK’s adviser community.”

The integration will combine portfolio and standing data, performance, provider documents and independent research into a single location that adviser can access.

1st – The Exchange managing director David Child says: “Continued development of our systems and software remains a high priority to ensure our advisers gain rapid access to the newest products and services. We are delighted to have this exclusive link with FundsLibrary which will give much faster and more efficient straight-through access to our adviser users.”

High society pensions

Having just received a voting package from Nationwide, and considering the current talk about MPs’ final-salary pensions, I thought I should ask Nationwide what type of pension scheme they have, particularly for the chief executive Graham Beale.

Make a difference

Imagine a man in his late 20s, married, with three children. He works hard to support his family, keeping a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, clothes on their backs while maintaining some standard of living. He is a salesman in a travel firm, with a basic salary of £12,000 but with commission he can earn around £24,000.
