1% charges on new Interactive funds

Alison Bone

Interactive Investor has set up two new Isas which it says have low initial charges.

The Isas have the same initial charges as the Interactive Investor fund supermarket, typically 1 per cent, and no extra fees.

The Eastern & Emerging Promise Isa offers a combination of four funds investing in the Far East, Japan and emerging markets, each of which is classified as high risk. The funds are Aberdeen Asia Pacific, Gartmore emerging market opportunities, Fram-lington Japan and M&G smaller companies.

The Hot Spots Isa has a mix of funds that provide access to investment in property, Latin American growth stocks, global financial companies and emerging European stocks.

Interactive Investor classifies these funds – the Aber-deen property share, Threadneedle Latin American, JPMF New Europe shares and Jup-iter financial opportunities – as specialist and says they are proving popular with a growing number of investors.
